Why invest in sustainability?

“Will sustainability improve my company?” This is a question many businesses ask themselves. We are convinced it does. But don’t just take our word for it. International studies show three main findings when it comes to incorporating sustainability in businesses.

65% expect you to do so
65% of employees expect a climate policy from their employer. As the war for talent rages, sustainability can be your competitive advantage.

1 out of 2 companies says it receives questions regarding its sustainability approach.
84% already act
84% of companies say they are already acting on sustainability.

And, last, but surely not least, the law is changing fast. By 2024 large companies in the EU will have to report on their sustainability efforts. The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) demands reporting on 11 sustainability topics, transition and physical risks and carbon emissions in Scope 1 -2 -3. By including scope 3 in the list, all companies that are not directly impacted by the regulation will be asked to do so by their clients.
